  • Social Media Data: If you interact with us on social media platforms (such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram or TikTok), we may receive information from those platforms in accordance with their privacy policies and your privacy settings. We operate a newsletter through LinkedIn with approximately 4,500 subscribers. LinkedIn does not share subscribers' email addresses with us, and any personal data processing in connection with the LinkedIn newsletter is governed by LinkedIn's terms and conditions and privacy policy.

  • Communications: We keep records of any correspondence or communications you have with us, including emails, messages, or comments.

  • To manage our business relationships: We use contact information to maintain relationships with sponsors, partners, podcast guests, and other business contacts.

  • To share aggregated audience data with sponsors and partners: We may share anonymized and aggregated data about our audience with sponsors and partners, such as viewing figures andaudience demographics by sector. This data is derived from our podcast streaming platforms and does not include individual personal data. We do not share individual contact details or attendee lists with sponsors unless you have provided specific prior consent.

  • To comply with legal obligations: We may use and disclose your personal data as required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Legal Obligation: We may process your personal data where necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where we rely on consent as the legal basis for processing. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

  • Content Distribution Platforms: We publish podcast episodes and related content on third- party platforms, including Spotify, YouTube, and other podcast directories, which may process personal data (such as voice recordings and images of podcast guests) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

  • Sponsors and Partners: We share aggregated, anonymized data about our audience with sponsors and partners for reporting purposes, such as viewing figures and audience demographics by sector. This data is derived from our podcast streaming platforms. We do not share individual personal data or contact details with sponsors unless you have provided specific prior consent.

  • Professional Advisors: We may share personal data with our lawyers, accountants, auditors and other professional advisors where necessary to obtain professional advice or protect our legal rights.

  • Law Enforcement and Regulators: We may disclose personal data if required to do so by law, court order, or other legal process, or if we believe such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights or property, or prevent harm.

HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL DATA

  • Contact form enquiries: We retain enquiry data for thirty (30) days from the date of your enquiry, unless we need to retain it for longer to resolve your enquiry or comply with legal obligations.

  • Podcast episodes and guest information: We retain podcast recordings, transcripts, and related guest information indefinitely, as we have a legitimate interest in maintaining an archive of our published content. If a podcast guest requests removal of their episode, we will discuss the reasoning behind the request and agree on a suitable way forward for all parties. Podcast guests may exercise their right to erasure in accordance with clause 8.1(c) below, subject to any overriding legitimate grounds we may have for retaining the content.

  • Website analytics data: We retain analytics data collected through cookies and tracking technologies for twenty-six (26) months (in line with Google Analytics default settings).

  • Business contact information: We retain contact details of sponsors, partners and other business contacts for as long as we have an ongoing relationship, and for two (2) years after the relationship ends.

  • LinkedIn newsletter subscribers: Personal data of subscribers to our LinkedIn newsletter is processed and retained by LinkedIn in accordance with LinkedIn's privacy policy and terms of service. We do not have access to subscribers' email addresses or other contact details unless they separately provide this information to us through our contact form or other means.

In some circumstances, we may anonymize your personal data (so that it can no longer be associated with you) for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

  • Right to data portability: Where we process your personal data based on your consent or for the performance of a contract, and the processing is carried out by automated means, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit that data to another controller.
